In 1920 William Dudek started the company with the simple premise that there was a better way to make a wire form. He built a better “mousetrap”, fourslide incorporating his own design ideas and started producing Christmas ornament hooks and paper clips. A humble beginning but a precursor to the future.

After William Dudek, sons Fred and Ed and a dedicated team of employees continued the endless march to continually improve the process and their company. Whether it was machine innovations such as open cams, the use of air cylinders, special shutoff circuits, process improvement never stopped. Customers challenged wm dudek mfg with ever more complex part designs and the challenge was met with more innovative tooling designs.
