Interesting Facts

• The radius bend at the closed end of the part made this a perfect application for the fourslide process
• Part has a ¼-20 threaded hole done complete in the fourslide
• 36,000,000 pieces were produced without a missed thread
• Part was exported to China when our customer moved product manufacturing overseas
• Eleven sets of tools were used to counteract the variation in raw material helping  maintain the critical open end tolerance
• Deburred edge material allowed for smooth insertion into the mating tube
